Kirtan College: A Weekend Chanting Immersion

with David Newman and Mira

Open your heart with song and devotion at Kirtan College in beautiful Fairlee, Vermont! This weekend immersion is designed to support you in developing a greater practical understanding of kirtan, and empower you to facilitate this rich ancient chant tradition for others. A musical background is not required.

The course curriculum includes:

  • Methodology for practicing and leading kirtan.
  • Sanskrit mantra pronunciation and translation.
  • Teachings and practices of the bhakti yoga tradition.
  • Storytelling of the ancient myths of India.
  • Musical support and guidance.
